Mabel or Margot

Not for a baby, just in general! Thank you :blush:

@bemiranda I definitely prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! I know it is popular, but I’ve never met one. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is sweet too, but I have a harder time picturing it on a baby or toddler for some reason.

I hope this helps, it was fun!

mabel !! i really like both of these names, but i adore mabel - she’s the epitome of cosy to me, but also kind of deep and dark and romantic and so lovely and warm. margot is very gorgeous too, but i feel a bit less connected to her!

I am biased, because one of my favorite people on earth is named [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but… it’s such a good name. Uncommon but familiar, old fashioned but fits right into modern naming, full of life and light.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is spunky to me, while [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is the definition of a sweetheart!

I love both, but I’d lean slightly more towards [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] :two_hearts: Meeting a little one with this name would be so fun.

Tough one!! I love both! I’ll have to say that [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is my favorite between them though.

I remember when I first heard/saw the name, which was when I was in elementary school. There was a short chapter book we read together as a class, and there was a [name_f]Margot[/name_f] in the book. I don’t remember anything about the book or character, but I remember being drawn to that name! Also, I love that [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] is an intuitive nickname that could be used for it

I love [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], and I haven’t been aware of this name as long as I’ve been aware of [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. I didn’t truly come to love [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] until the TV show [name_f]Gravity[/name_f] Falls, but that definitely helped win over the name for me!

Really though, I could genuinely see myself using either name for an actual child

I like both and cannot really choose, but I feel more connected personally with the name [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] if it makes sense? For me: [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] = [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] > [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but all three are cool! Personally I feel like [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] is more “mine” as style. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is fantastic! Can’t choose

[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] has a warmer feel to me and I feel like I see it less so I’m more excited about it.

[name_f]Mabel[/name_f], I think. I like the warmer, cosier feel. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is nice but there’s something quite aloof about it.

I quite like both but I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] has a slight edge up for me.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is elegant, strong, polished and has this lovely old school Hollywood romantic feel. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] makes my heart smile! She’s gorgeous.
