[name_u]Baby[/name_u]'s due in 8 weeks and I think we have it down to two (with a few back ups). Big brother is [name_m]Miles[/name_m], and our choices are [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] & [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]. My question is, before I fall too hard for [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] - do [name_m]Miles[/name_m] & [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] sound too matchy for siblings? Dad is another M name, [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. Never thought I would be the parent with matchy family names!
I love both [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], but I do think [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is a bit on the matchy side. [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] would make a great sibset imo!

Consider when they are grown up, no one will care if they have a sibling starting with the same letter 
Not too matchy at all. The only thing that matchy imo is the first letter and lots of families do that on purpose. Not a big deal, I think [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] are quite lovely together.
I think [name_m]Miles[/name_m] and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] are cute together! Definitely not too matchy. I much prefer [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] to [name_f]Annabel[/name_f].
I think they sound good together! Besides, if you have a third child, you can always break the tradition.
My boys’ names both start with D, but they go by nicknames with different first letters.

Most of us are attracted to particular sounds in a name, so many alliterated sib sets aren’t planned. They just sort of “happen,” as families choose names they love. I know that’s what happened in my birth family.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you plan to have more children one day? Would you feel compelled to continue with M names, if you choose [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]? There is no right or wrong. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a question for you to ponder.
I prefer [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] with [name_m]Miles[/name_m]. But both names are pretty! Follow your heart!
