Madeline v. Felicity

We’re having a hard time deciding on a name for a girl. We’ve decided on [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. Sibling are [name]Trevor[/name] and [name]Spencer[/name]. Thanks so much for your help!

[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name]!

[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name] by a long shot. [name]Madeline[/name] feels overused and trendy. Between all the Madeleines, Madelines, Madelyns, Madisons, Adelyns, Adelines, Emmelines (don’t get me wrong these are lovely names), to me [name]Madeline[/name] feels a little tired. [name]Felicity[/name] has a lovely meaning and feels fresh and new. It seems like the type of name that would get a lot of compliments.

[name]Felicity[/name]! [name]Love[/name] the meaning too! Wouldn’t pair it with [name]Grace[/name] though…what about [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Faith[/name] (could nn her [name]Fifi[/name]) or [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Joy[/name]?

I like [name]Madeline[/name] but dislike [name]Maddie[/name], so [name]Felicity[/name] gets my vote. I think either name “goes” with her brothers’ names. If grace doesn’t have a lot of meaning for you, I might find a different middle…felicity grace is a bit “c” heavy.

With [name]Trevor[/name] and [name]Spencer[/name], I like [name]Madeline[/name].

With [name]Trevor[/name] and [name]Spencer[/name] I also like [name]Madeline[/name].

[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name] <3

I feel like [name]Madeline[/name] goes best with the boys, but [name]Felicity[/name] also works and I just love the name. So, my vote goes to [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name]! I love [name]Flick[/name] and Lissy as nicknames!

[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name]! I just met a little girl named [name]Felicity[/name] and they call her Flixie. I thought it was adorable.

[name]Madeline[/name]! I think it’s adorable and the nn [name]Maddy[/name]/[name]Maddie[/name] is just precious. However, I prefer [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Grace[/name] over [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Rose[/name].
I also think [name]Madeline[/name] fits better with siblings [name]Trevor[/name] and [name]Spencer[/name] than [name]Felicity[/name].

I would go with [name]Felicity[/name]. I feel like [name]Madeline[/name] is so over-done right now with the Madelines, Madeleines, Madelyns, not to mention the Madisons nn [name]Maddy[/name].
Of course if you don’t care about popularity at all then I have no objections to [name]Madeline[/name], it is a nice name. I just think [name]Felicity[/name] is more unique, fresh.

Another vote for Felicity Grace!
Although I like the name Madeline, I prefer Felicity for its meaning.

Definitely [name]Felicity[/name]! I’m a little biased, I have a little [name]Felicity[/name] myself  I think it’s such an underused name. It’s elegant and approachable at the same time, having a long history and a cheery meaning. I love the nickname options for it and it’s unique yet still heard of. [name]Madeline[/name] would blend in with all the Madisons of this generation and people would never know whether to pronounce it mad-uh-line or mad-uh-lyn. I think [name]Felicity[/name] is the clear winner!

[name]Both[/name] are absolutely stunning names, you really couldn’t go wrong with either one. [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name] are both great names. since I have to pick though, I will go wtih [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Rose[/name].

[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name]!

[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name], beautiful name! It doesnt seem as popular and I think it goes great with your boys names!

[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Grace[/name] because I don’t like that spelling of [name]Madeleine[/name].

I love [name]Felicity[/name] - it’s in my top four right now, so of course I am partial to it. And while I think [name]Madeleine[/name] is a fine name (and I love the book!) I agree with the others when they say it is over used right now (and is similar to many over-used names). Also, I have an extreme dislike for the nn [name]Maddy[/name] or [name]Maddie[/name], and I think [name]Madeleine[/name] naturally gets shortened to [name]Maddy[/name]. [name]Felicity[/name] is fresh, fun, pretty, spunky and still quite unique! I have never met a [name]Felicity[/name], but I imagine her to be a fun person to be around - someone who is perpetually positive and fun to be around. I also like [name]Flick[/name] and Lissy as nn’s. I do think that both fit nicely with the siblings, so you really can’t go wrong.

[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. Although i think that [name]Madeline[/name] suits your style more and would go with her brothers names.
