I used to love [name_u]Madigan[/name_u] as a less popular alternative to [name_u]Madison[/name_u] for a girl back in the day.
I was reminded of it today. It gives me similar vibes as [name_u]Madison[/name_u] (successful business woman in [name_u]New[/name_u] York), but whereas [name_u]Madison[/name_u] feels more grey-ish, [name_u]Madigan[/name_u] has a yellow-green image to me.
I like them both. What are your thoughts on [name_u]Madigan[/name_u] for a girl?
I like [name_u]Madigan[/name_u]! I actually knew a girl called [name_u]Madigan[/name_u] growing up, and always thought it was a cool alternative to [name_u]Madison[/name_u] which is really popular for my age group. [name_u]Madigan[/name_u] feels cool, chic, and sharp to me – I can totally see the [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]York[/name_u] business woman vibe you mention. It feels very fresh and distinctive, I think it’s that “g” sound that really makes it sound new and crisp to my ears. Overall a great name!
I’m not much of a surname-name person, but I like Madigan’s lively, spunky sound! It’s a fun alternative to Madeline/Madison if you want something fresher.
To me, [name_u]Madigan[/name_u] is a fairy in a [name_f]British[/name_f] fairytale—impish (in a good way), dark green, and dusk are the images stirred by [name_u]Madigan[/name_u]. So overall positive.
i love it!! it’s been a love of mine for a couple years now. it’s also gracie abrams’s middle name, and i love her so that makes it even better for me.
it’s cute in theory or on a dog, but not a human, especially not on a girl, it means [name_m]Little[/name_m] Dog so I can’t see anyone being able to pull it off sorry.
