I am really starting to love the name [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], but I’m afraid it’s too close to another name I like, [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. What do you guys think?
Naming actual children, I would say only use one or the other. Too close for siblings imo.

For me they’re too close, sorry, but you probably could get away with it. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] or [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] might work

Looks like I’m in the minority, but I think it could work. “[name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]” sounds great together [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. Both are lovely names, especially [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] ([name_f]Maeve[/name_f] has been one of my all-time favorites forever!)
It is matchy matchy but if you love the names go with it.
The thing is [name_f]Ava[/name_f] will probably end up being called ‘[name_f]Ave[/name_f]’ so it’s [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Ave[/name_f] lol and you’ll probably accidentally mess up their names, but all parents do. I have a brother and my mom calls me his name sometimes 
, so I really don’t think it’s a big deal.
[name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] are quite similar. But they may work if you chose one for a child’s first name and the other for another child’s middle name.
I do think they’re too similar to use both. That being said, if you enjoy them equally, have you considered the name [name_f]Maeva[/name_f]?
My first thought was it sounds like my son’s favourite youtube channel - [name_m]Dave[/name_m] & [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. Funnily enough [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] & [name_f]Ava[/name_f] doesn’t sound quite right but [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] sounds ok. I personally wouldn’t use them together both but if you love them go for it (perhaps use [name_f]Ava[/name_f] for the eldest so when they’re both in trouble that’s the one you’ll yell out first :D).
They’re both lovely names, but I think that they’re too close in sound for sisters.
That “a” sound is very strong in both. Probably too close. I prefer [name_f]Ava[/name_f] for the record. Always loved that name. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is a bit outre, and will be misprounced too, if that matters.
