I love both, I love [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] for its [name_f]Irish[/name_f] roots and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] for its Australian connection (that’s just me personally), both are popular where I am. I would say what I then look for is nickname-ability, I find [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] has more options than [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. I know someone who named their daughter [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] because it was a twist on the popular [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and that kinda mashes the two together!
