I worked with someone named this. It’s actually frequently mispronounced & mispelled. She always has to correct people.
it’s seen very much as a dated, middle-age name in [name_m]France[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f]I used to like the look and sound of it. unfortunately, the first 4 letters make it entirely unusable for me as an American, especially since it’s not well known in the US so it would probably come across as made up, and assumptions would be made.

I really like it, although I prefer the Magalie spelling, and I prefer the similar sounding [name_f]Madelief[/name_f] even more.

I love [name_f]Magali[/name_f], it’s got such a fun, lively rhythm to it and it’s cute but not too soft or childish.
i’m brazilian, magali is associated with a cartoon character that eats everything, wouldn’t put in a baby name
