Magdalena vs Magdaleni

I’ve always liked [name]Magdalena[/name] but Magdaleni is really growing on me. And the nicknames [name]Leni[/name] is very cute, I like it more then [name]Lena[/name].

Does anyone else like Magdaleni?

I don’t really like Magdaleni and much prefer [name]Magdalena[/name]. But I think you could still use [name]Leni[/name] as a nickname for [name]Magdalena[/name] if you like it.

[name]Magdalena[/name]! And like someone said you can still use the nickname [name]Leni[/name]

I agree! [name]Magdalena[/name] nn [name]Leni[/name] is sooo cute! I presonally adore the nn [name]Leni[/name] and would use it for eleanor is I decide to use the name!

[name]Maggie[/name] is also cute for [name]Magdalena[/name]!

[name]Magdalena[/name] is worlds better, imo. I think Magdaleni would create lot of confusion. I spent several moments looking at it to check for various pronunciation possibilities. I think it would trip people up to spell and say.

Magdaleni sounds like a pasta to me.

[name]Magdalena[/name] sounds classic and lovely.

I laughed a lot at the pasta remark.

[name]Magdalena[/name] could have [name]Leni[/name] as a nickname now that I think about it. Btw [name]Eleanor[/name] nn [name]Leni[/name] is adorable

[name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] ([name_f]Mag[/name_f]-da-lay-na) is high on our girl name list. We would nickname her [name_f]Layna[/name_f] though.

[name_f]Magdalena[/name_f], I agree with the above posters [name_f]Leni[/name_f] can still be used as a nn.

I love [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] nn [name_f]Meg[/name_f] (although [name_f]Leni[/name_f] is sweet), but I couldn’t have a [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] and a [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f], so I’m trying to export it as much as possible for others to use - I’d be over the moon if I met a little [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]! Magdaleni is lovely, but it seems a little informal to me - perhaps [name_f]Magali[/name_f] might be to your taste? Good luck! sending “use [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]!” vibes through the computer screen
