I posted this on here because it technically is a name, and I need your creative minds that come up with such awesome character names :-).
I’m trying to find a name for a magical item in my story. The item is a map that a man created a few hundred years ago for his son, Max, who wanted to experience the world but was unable to leave his house. It’s a box that opens to reveal a live map of the world. The person using it can see any place in the world, and it seems like they’re actually there. The map translates scents, sounds, and temperature so the person knows what it’s like to be there. They can also interact with what’s in that place. For example, they can “go” to an old library and experience the scent of the books and feel the fire. They could open one of the books and see whats inside, but nobody at the actual bookstore has any idea what’s going on. The book just appears to be still on the shelf.
Now that you know the basic idea, maybe you can help me come up with a name. Originally I thought it would be an acronym of M.A.P. or MAP, with the letters somewhat explaining the item. Something like Max’s Atlas Perspective or something. I might still do the acronym, but I’m having lots of trouble finding what the letters should be. I’m also open to doing a completely different name, if I can find something that works. Honestly, any ideas are very welcome (I don’t care if they sound dumb, I’m just trying to find something to work off of:D).
TL;DR
The magical item is a box that opens to a live map of the world that lets a person see what’s going on anywhere. I’m trying to find a name for it. I was thinking an acronym like M.A.P. but I’m having trouble finding what the letters should be. I’m also open to any other suggestions, acronym or not.
Any answers welcome!
