[name_m]Hi[/name_m], so a name combo that i’m starting to really like is [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f].
I like how it has this subtle, southern belle, antique feel while not being too heavy on one style. However, I’m entirely incapable at detecting a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ flow with names, so I tend to create off sounding combos, for this I would like some outside opinions.
Also my style is usually two middle names, something I haven’t been able to find for [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], so if you guys wanted leave 2 mn suggestions (preferably one containing [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], because why not :)) it would be much appreciated.
What is truly important is that it feels right to you and you love it. Personally, in my opinion, [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is a beautiful name, as is [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but both are a bit of a mouthful even on their own, so I definitely would not pair them (same goes with [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] - sorry!). If it were me, I would pair something much simpler with those names - like [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] or [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f].
I think it’s lovely. It is long, but there’s not necessarily anything wrong with that.
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] sounds good to me. I would probably stick with one or maybe two syllables for the second middle, just to keep it from getting ridiculously long.
Here’s some other suggestions to go with [name_f]Winifred[/name_f]. I think most of them would sound good with [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] as well:
For me, it’s not that it’s long, but that it’s a mouthful - there are just a lot of sounds all rolled into one, so it’s difficult and a bit awkward to say aloud.
Oh, I absolutely adore BOTH of these names! I think there’s something so lovely/feminine about this name, but I do agree that pairing two four-syllable names like that can be cumbersome.
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is perfection-I honestly can’t top it;)
Eta: I didn’t read the other replies before my post & im so surprised it didn’t get more love! bummer! [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to see another [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] though!
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is gorgeous! It is very long, but if that doesn’t bother you, why not? I love [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], and that’s pretty long, too, haha. [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] would be gorgeous, as well, but is maybe a bit too over-the-top. If you add a surname, I’m not sure it’d even fit on some official forms?
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] would be lovely, though! Or [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]?
