I love [name]Magnolia[/name]! Plus, [name]Magnolia[/name] and [name]Aurora[/name] go better together- both are more exotic sounding than [name]Jillian[/name].

Definitely [name]Magnolia[/name] as a first name, but I kind of like the combination of [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Jillian[/name]

[name]Magnolia[/name] is such a sweet name. If I had one I’d nn her [name]Maggie[/name].

[name]Jillian[/name]… hmm [name]Jill[/name] sounds harsh to me, and kind of old fashioned with [name]Aurora[/name].

[name]Magnolia[/name] does not sound like a name to me even though it is a flower. I MUCH prefer [name]Jillian[/name]. It doesn’t seem to be a favorite around this forum, though I’m surprised. It has a rich sound, a lovely, feminine flow, and I know a VERY spunky determined tween named [name]Jillian[/name] who really wears this name well. No one calls her [name]Jill[/name] or [name]Jilly[/name] or anything other than [name]Jillian[/name].

I prefer [name]Jillian[/name] too. [name]Magnolia[/name] seems like a caricature Southern belle name, whereas [name]Jillian[/name] is very professional and refined. I like [name]Aurora[/name] as long as it doesn’t sound disney-esque; I fear [name]Magnolia[/name] pushes it into that territory. [name]Jillian[/name], on the other hand, makes [name]Aurora[/name] look equally lovely and serious.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! keep it coming!

I [name]Adore[/name] the name [name]Magnolia[/name]…and I think [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Magnolia[/name] sound great together. I worry that [name]Magnolia[/name] is “too out there”, but then again people used to think [name]Aurora[/name] was too out there…and I really don’t think it is. I love girly and beautiful long names for girls, that are out of the “top 100”.

Always good to have options! With [name]Aurora[/name] I think I changed my mind 10 times. but this time around, we have said [name]Magnolia[/name] since the begining and it it sticking, so that is a good sign!

[name]Magnolia[/name] is such a pretty name!Andddd, you get the lovely nn [name]Maggie[/name] if you like (: Magnolis [name]Jane[/name] is really cute and it goes well with [name]Aurora[/name] much better:smile:

Not only is [name]Magnolia[/name] a beautiful name with some fun nickname possibilities, it’s interesting. I like a name with a spark and this definitely has one. Also, how beautiful is a magnolia flower, sprouting from the tree branches. My husband is not a fan but I’m trying to win him over.
