Magnolia?

I’m falling hard for [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] at the moment! I love [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] & [name_f]Nola[/name_f], but I’m worried the full name just wouldn’t sit right in a non-name nerd type environment.

We’re somewhat surrounded by [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]'s & [name_f]Emma[/name_f]'s & [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]'s and although I won’t be following that chain, I don’t want her to feel almost embarrassed to share her full name.

Sorry this q is a little all over the place, let’s blame pregnancy brain.

In a nut shell, could [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] work in the ‘real world’?

I honestly don’t see why not. While there will be a lot of Sophias and Charlottes and emmas about there will also be other children [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] and the Sophias charlottes and Emmas will encounter that have more unusual names. It seems that more unique names are becoming less unheard of and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is a beautiful name. Children get teased for anything so the getting made fun of at school over a name argument is redundant to me. Children tease others over names, looks whatever so I don’t think you should worry over such a gorgeous name as magnolia. It’s so sweet people’s reaction will be how nice it is

Absolutely! It’s unique, but not not unheard of. It’s sweet and feminine like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], and [name_f]Emma[/name_f]. I think she would stand out in a wonderful way.

I think [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is a beautiful name! I would love to have it as my own name. The test that I always follow is to ask yourself how you would feel a) if [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] were your name b) telling a new boss your daughter’s name is [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] c) Yelling [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] across a playground. If you are comfortable with all three of those things, then I think the name is a go. If you think, “well, I would just yell [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] or [name_f]Nola[/name_f] across the playground, tell the boss her name was [name_f]Maggie[/name_f], or if it were my name I would go by [name_f]Nola[/name_f]” then the name is a no. But I think it’s beautiful and for me, it passes all of these qualifications.

[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is great. I absolutely love the tree! It’s definitely usable, I mean - how different is it really in sound from [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] or [name_f]Julia[/name_f]? Go for it:)

Definitely! I love [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], the nicknames are adorable and it fits in with all of the nature names like [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. It also fits in with the super feminine names like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. The ending -a sound is popular right now, and so are nature names, so [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] fits in while still standing out. I love magnolia trees too. The name is beautiful and I would love to meet a [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]!
