Magnus

Still here and still preggo  so I’d love to hear your thoughts on [name]Magnus[/name].

I think it’s a great name (and it means great, how about that)! Very royal name in Norway, which is nice. I also know one and he’s really cool. I pronounce it more like mahng-nuss which I prefer over [name]MAG[/name]-nuhs.

I’ve loved this name for a very long time and it absolutely crushes me to know that I’ll never be allowed by family or my SO to give this name to a future son. Unless I find a nice Norwegian guy instead and move far away. (; haha It’s my perfect boys’ name.

It’s a lot of name to carry, but I like it.

I really like it, quit a lot more than [name]Angus[/name]. It’s regal as ottilie said but still realistic. I quite like its sound (and the secret N to share with your other children) as well as its meaning and history.

I really like [name]Magnus[/name]!

I love your list and many of your preferred names were on my list ([name]Atticus[/name], [name]Magnus[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Beckett[/name], [name]Jack[/name] & [name]August[/name]) in the end we went with [name]Jack[/name] [name]Everett[/name] but would have chosen [name]Magnus[/name] if it had worked better with our last name…I love that [name]Magnus[/name] is different but not too far out there, [name]IMO[/name]…

Go forth with my blessing. I think [name]Magnus[/name] is great.

I like the sound, but it will forever be a last name to me, as it’s the last name of a close family friend of mine.

This was my great grandfathers name, great choice. As far as associations go, I think of the movie [name]Matilda[/name], and Miss. Honeys father, who was named [name]Magnus[/name]

We have it on our list for a boy. My hubby loves it, and I like it a lot! I prefer heavy masculine names for boys and [name]Magnus[/name] definitely fits into that category!

[name]Just[/name] watched [name]Matilda[/name] today to see the [name]Magnus[/name] connection  Were going to keep as a possibility. Thanks all!
