Maya- mostly because it’s more common, so less spelling corrections and aggravations required.
Also, although [name_f]Maia[/name_f] intrigues me, and I know it’s a legit name spelling, I feel like it needs a consonant to ground it as a name.
Maya, I feel like it’s a far more intuitive spelling. This might actually be the only name I prefer with a y over an i.
For me this is an absolute toss up. It really depends on which etymology you prefer and what the middle name is going to be. Depending on those factors, my spelling preference changes.
Maya! I adore it. I love the Hebrew origins over the Greek one. [name_f]Maja[/name_f] would be my second favorite option.

Maya!
I don’t have a strong preference. Both are lovely. I would pick [name_f]Maia[/name_f]. If you are worried about spelling issues, I would guess that [name_f]Maya[/name_f] would be the more conventional spelling.

I prefer [name_f]Maya[/name_f] because of the tie to [name_f]Maya[/name_f] [name_f]Angelou[/name_f]. But [name_f]Maia[/name_f] looks very pretty too. [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name either way!

I prefer [name_f]Maya[/name_f] as it feels friendlier and also because of [name_f]Maya[/name_f] [name_f]Angelou[/name_f]. However, [name_f]Maia[/name_f] feels more current and on-trend.
Maya
Maia and even more [name_f]Amaia[/name_f]
This is one of those funny names where the spelling makes all the difference for me. I LOVE [name_f]Maia[/name_f] but don’t care for [name_f]Maya[/name_f] at all. So [name_f]Maia[/name_f] all the way!!
