I much prefer [name_f]Molly[/name_f] to [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], although, to be honest, it’s not my favorite either. I really dislike something about all the “mas” names, sorry.

I think of [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] Mouse plus I have a bad personal association with the name, [name_f]Molly[/name_f] seems like a very friendly name.

I voted [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] (though I prefer [name_f]Maisy[/name_f]). [name_f]Molly[/name_f] reminds me a mole…not nice!

I think maybe it’s influenced by where you live too. I much prefer [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] (on my own short list!) [name_f]Molly[/name_f] is “cute” but it sounds a bit 80s to me, maybe I just knew too many in the 80s  I’m in southern U.S. Where I don’t hear [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] much at all

[name_f]Molly[/name_f]! I’ve loved that name since I was a kid:) nothing wrong with [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] though.

I like both, but if I had to pick I’d go with [name_f]Molly[/name_f].
I guess because it feels more like a full name and it has more of a familiar, friendly feel.
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is nice, but it feels more new/less established.
Also, I’ve never met anyone named [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] so it feels like an unknown. [name_f]Every[/name_f] [name_f]Molly[/name_f] I’ve known has been sweet and happy and friendly. [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] feels more like the name a girl would give her doll.
Again, I do like both, I just slightly prefer [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_m]IRL[/name_m] on a person.

[name_f]Molly[/name_f] by a mile. I don’t see the appeal of [name_f]Maisie[/name_f].

I knew a spunky Molly and a neurotic Maisie so both personal associations influence the image that each name projects for me. I’ll put it this way: Maisie sounds like Molly’s asthmatic and poorer cousin. Molly is the stronger name to me so it wins this competition. It’s cute but not cutesy like Maisie.
