[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone!
Jessa’s a name that I really want to love, but I feel I need your help in doing so.
I’d really appreciate it if you guys could tell me what you like about the name [name_f]Jessa[/name_f], as well as what vibes it gives you (I’m thinking it could be cottagecore vibes , my favourite, but am not completely sure yet).
[name_f]My[/name_f] major concern is that it’s “too made up” feeling. Let me know what you think on that too.
In short, I’d just love to know your thoughts on the name, what you like, vibes, and whether it’s established enough.
Thank you so much!!!
I grew up knowing a girl named [name_f]Jessa[/name_f] (she actually spelled it Jesa, but it sounds exactly the same).
Anyways, I always thought her name was so cool and unexpected, especially since I grew up in the heyday of Jessicas. Her name felt much more streamlined and less frilly. I always thought it was the perfect balance of feminine yet sporty!
It also feels more timeless to me. I still think it’s such a cool, unusual name, but with a sense of warmth and familiarity.
[name_f]Jessa[/name_f] → it feels rugged and friendly, slightly warm - a bit like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], a bit like [name_f]Jenna[/name_f]. I think it feels established
It feels like an updated, fresher version of [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] to me. It feels very warm and spring-like. I imagine a [name_f]Jessa[/name_f] to be young, vibrant, very friendly and kind. I have never felt it was “made up”. I was familiar with the name even before I knew who [name_f]Jessa[/name_f] Duggar was (people always seem to bring her up when this name is discussed but I don’t think it’s an issue). It’s a name that feels youthful and fun but also versatile and works in any school or workplace.
