[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Here are my thoughts:
[name_f]Adelina[/name_f]-I’m head over heals for [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], but for some reason don’t care for this one. Either way, [name_f]Addie[/name_f] names are quite over done. Particularly [name_u]Addison[/name_u] & [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f], but this could get lumped in.
[name_f]Aileen[/name_f]-I think that [name_f]Eileen[/name_f] would be charming & refreshing, but this spelling looks a tad off.
[name_u]Alani[/name_u]-I don’t care for this much, but I do like [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] a lot.
[name_f]Alouette[/name_f]-This is pretty neat, actually. I’ve never considered it before. It’s a bit much, but interesting.
[name_f]Alexandria[/name_f]-I always have liked this better than [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. That ‘i’ makes it so much fancier. It’s a bit too long on its own, & I’m not personally into [name_u]Alex[/name_u] or [name_u]Allie[/name_u]. [name_u]Alex[/name_u] is too boyish & [name_u]Allie[/name_u] is kind of dated.
[name_f]Athena[/name_f]-I like [name_f]Althea[/name_f] & [name_f]Anthea[/name_f], but can’t get into [name_f]Athena[/name_f]. It’s a good strong name, but it almost sounds too tough to me.
[name_f]Briar[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f]-That’s just a little too much. And I don’t care for hyphens in names personally. It looks weird, because it’s nota letter. I like [name_f]Briar[/name_f] fine on its own.
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]-I’ve never been a fan of this. Something about it seems heavy.
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]-This is a solid classic. I really like the ‘C’. Especially w/the classic smart nn [name_f]Cate[/name_f].
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f]-This is good. It’s strong & feminine, but also sort of fancy.
[name_f]Clover[/name_f]-Very cute. Such a lovely imagery. It’s a simple yet unique floral name.
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]-Beautiful! Another simple but unique floral name. I think this one grows up better.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]-I love the pixie feeling to this, yet it’s still nice & sophisticated enough.
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]-I like this a lot, but I think it will get mistaken for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. That could get annoying. The nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f] is nice.
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]-Hm. See [name_f]Elowen[/name_f].
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]-Meh, I just don’t love this name for some reason. It seems sort of snobby for some reason.
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f]-I like [name_f]Dora[/name_f] & I like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabella[/name_f], but this always seemed sort of clunky.
[name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]-i just don’t personally love the sound of this, but it’s different.
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]-That’s pretty. I like the simpler sleeker spelling of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], but either way.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]-I adore this. It’s very smart & polished, but always easy to picture on a sweet little girl in an [name_f]Easter[/name_f] dress.
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f]-Not sure why, but I don’t love this one. I like [name_u]Noel[/name_u] on a boy, & this just seems like a forced version of that.
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f]-This is a bit heavy sounding.
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]-Sooo cute. I’m loving this one lately. It’s spunky & old fashioned. And the nn [name_f]Livy[/name_f] is adorable.
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]-I like this one better as a nn for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. It’s a bit too nick-namey on its own.
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f]-I like this a lot. It’s really unique, but not too weird. It’s strong, feminine w/out being too frilly & has a cheery sound.
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]-I don’t hate it, but it just doesn’t have the beautiful of a sound to me.
[name_f]Sahara[/name_f]-This is not my style. It’s a bit much, but not awful.
[name_f]Sarai[/name_f]-Hm. I think people will just get confused that this is [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]. It sounds a bit harsh.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]-This is a beautiful classic. It’s getting pretty popular.
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]-This is kind of fun. It has a kind homey feeling. I don’t like [name_u]Willie[/name_u] though, & it may be hard to avoid.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]-This is seeming sort of trendy, but it’s not bad.
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]-I like it okay as a mn. It’s sort of harsh sounding as a fn in my opinion. I do adore [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] though, which makes it softer.
My top ten are: (in order!)
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]-Although it’s too popular for me personally, but it’s so sweet.
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
