I hope to have 5 kids and I was wondering, just for fun which 5 of our top boys names you think would work best as brothers? You can add in names not on the list if you think they work best.
Arthur
August
Edgar
Ezra
Felix
Frederick
Grover
Harold
Ike
Ira
Louis
Rex
Theodore
Van
Walter
[name]Walter[/name],[name]Louis[/name], [name]Ira[/name], [name]Harold[/name] and [name]Grover[/name] would be super cute!
Oh, this is fun and I like a lot of the names so that makes it easier!
[name]August[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Felix[/name], [name]Louis[/name] & [name]Theodore[/name]
An additional sibset could be; [name]Arthur[/name], [name]Edgar[/name], [name]Louis[/name], [name]Felix[/name] & [name]Walter[/name] (A bit more old fashioned!)
I love your list! So vintage and quirky.
My five would be:
[name]August[/name]
[name]Louis[/name] (do you say this the English way or the French way? Loo-iss or loo-ee?)
[name]Ezra[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name] (for the nn [name]Freddie[/name]! I absolutely adore it)
And I can’t decide for the last one! Either [name]Rex[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], or [name]Felix[/name]. I don’t like that [name]Frederick[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] would share initials, and I’m not a huge fan of [name]Theodore[/name]'s nicknames, but I actually prefer [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] to [name]Rex[/name], so… haha. But I think those seven all fit together very well.
Good luck!
[name]August[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Felix[/name], [name]Louis[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name] would be wonderful names for siblings!
Here’s how I see them working best:
[name]Arthur[/name] [name]Frederick[/name] [name]Edgar[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Walter[/name]
[name]August[/name] [name]Felix[/name] [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Louis[/name]
[name]Grover[/name] [name]Ike[/name] [name]Rex[/name] [name]Van[/name] [name]Felix[/name]- This one may sound a little more like a litter of puppies ; ) , when mixed, but I LOVED brisk, fun, quirky boy names…
[name]Ira[/name] [name]Louis[/name] [name]Van[/name] [name]Harold[/name] [name]Walter[/name]
I like [name]Arthur[/name], [name]Edgar[/name], [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Louis[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name] together from your list.
[name]Arthur[/name], [name]Edgar[/name], [name]Harold[/name], [name]Louis[/name] (Loo-ee or loo-iss?), and [name]Theodore[/name].
[name]Felix[/name], [name]August[/name], [name]Ezra[/name] and maybe [name]Louis[/name], [name]Van[/name].
My favorites together are: [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], [name]August[/name], [name]Arthur[/name], & [name]Louis[/name]!
[name]August[/name], [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Edgar[/name], and [name]Louis[/name].
Ooh, fun! Here are my picks:
[name]Arthur[/name], [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Louis[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], and [name]Walter[/name].
Wow, great names! I don’t know if these are the ones that make the best “set” but I’d use [name]August[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Felix[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], and [name]Walter[/name].
Funky vintage: [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Grover[/name], [name]Ira[/name], [name]Rex[/name], and [name]Van[/name]
[name]Regal[/name] vintage: [name]Arthur[/name], [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Harold[/name], [name]Louis[/name], and [name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Wild[/name] card quintet that I like: [name]August[/name], [name]Edgar[/name], [name]Felix[/name], [name]Ike[/name], and [name]Louis[/name]
As I was playing around with the names. Suddenly the poet names jumped out at me.
[name]Edgar[/name] - [name]Edgar[/name] [name]Allan[/name] [name]Poe[/name]
[name]Walter[/name] - [name]Walt[/name] [name]Whitman[/name]
[name]Ezra[/name] - [name]Ezra[/name] Pound
[name]Theodore[/name] - [name]Theodore[/name] Roethke
so I’m adding
[name]Alfred[/name] - [name]Alfred[/name] [name]Tennyson[/name] – since you liked [name]August[/name] and [name]Arthur[/name] I thought this one might appeal. It is a little similar to Edgar but I figure you can use Edgar first and Alfred last to spread them out a bit.
[name]Edgar[/name], [name]Walter[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], and [name]Alfred[/name]
What awesome boys! Can you tell I use to teach English =)
EDA: And if you want to stretch it just a bit you could sub in Louis for one of those boys names for Robert Louis Stevenson or Byron for Lord Byron would be an awesome addition as well.
Thank you so much for all the replies!! It seems like most of the names go together, which is great news! Now I just have to pick which to use first!
For those who asked I am pronouncing [name]Louis[/name] the French way (Loo-ee)
Bonus points for anyone can think of sister names! I am still so stuck on girls names!
Thank you again!
