What are your thoughts on Malachi?

Brother to Reuben.

I think I’ve fallen in love with this name! But I am looking for honest opinions please. :slightly_smiling_face:

I really like [name_m]Malachi[/name_m], it’s a recent love for me as I suddenly realised it could be a double honour name for both sides of the family. It would be so fab as a brother to [name_m]Reuben[/name_m]!

I love it!! I think it’s a sweet name. It’s not super common but not so out there people think you are crazy. And I love that it’s a biblical name. So to me, that adds more meaning. And it sounds great with [name_m]Reuben[/name_m]. I say it’s a winner!!

I loooove Malachi.i love the way it sounds, its meaning, and the nickname [name_m]Mac[/name_m], [name_u]Kai[/name_u], or even [name_u]Max[/name_u]. I think it’s a Beautiful choice with [name_m]Reuben[/name_m].

It’s not really my style, but I totally see the appeal. And it fits beautifully with [name_m]Reuben[/name_m]!

I love it (especially with nickname [name_u]Mal[/name_u], [name_m]Mac[/name_m], or Kai). [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m] nn Mac/Mal is one of my current top masculine names, and [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] is a wonderful alternative to it that I’ve also considered (Malcolm just happens to be more my personal taste).

I absolutely love [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] :sparkling_heart:

[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] is a gorgeous name with great religious history with [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] being the last prophet and having the brilliant meaning ‘my messenger’ he’s a lovely choice. I like the nicknames especially [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. If I was to have a son with my OH his name would be [name_m]Malachi[/name_m].

I love [name_m]Malachi[/name_m]. It has such an interesting look and sound and, although it’s unusual and is three syllables, feels very wearable. I once met a gorgeous little boy with the name which made me love it even more.

I like it! It has a cute nickname with [name_u]Chi[/name_u] or even [name_u]Mal[/name_u]. I think [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] and [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] go nicely together!

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f], very cool and perfect with [name_m]Reuben[/name_m]. [name_u]Mal[/name_u] is such a great nickname too.

[name_f]My[/name_f] slight personal preference is for the Irish version, [name_m]Malachy[/name_m], but I think [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] is a better fit with R.
