I really like [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Fredric[/name_m] (though I prefer [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]/[name_m]Frederic[/name_m]).
I wouldn’t use [name_m]Farley[/name_m] (rusks), [name_m]Clark[/name_m] (shoes) [name_m]Errol[/name_m] ([name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]), [name_m]Bing[/name_m] (search engine), [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] (money, city, adjective) [name_m]Buster[/name_m] (nickname for a little boy), [name_m]Broderick[/name_m] (surname) or [name_m]Nigel[/name_m], [name_u]Dean[/name_u], [name_m]Basil[/name_m] and [name_m]Ronald[/name_m] (dated).
Well I didn’t expect US posters to know the brand but surely you have rusks over there?! [name_m]Little[/name_m] round biscuits that babies chew on when they’re teething?
[name_u]Sterling[/name_u] [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] - I like both [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] and [name_u]Sterling[/name_u]
[name_m]Fredric[/name_m] [name_u]March[/name_u] - I love [name_m]Fredrick[/name_m] (prefer this spelling)
[name_m]Ford[/name_m] - [name_m]Ford[/name_m] is very handsome. I would only use it as a middle name.
[name_m]Buster[/name_m] [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] - I like [name_u]Keaton[/name_u]
[name_m]Basil[/name_m] Rathbone - Rathbone is a family name. [name_f]My[/name_f] uncle received it as his middle name. The name has not been passed down since.
[name_u]Rex[/name_u] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] - I like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
Ahh another linguistic difference then. A cracker to me is something savoury which can be sharp and crumbly- not something I would give to a small baby
[name_m]Basil[/name_m] Rathbone and [name_u]Rex[/name_u] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] sound so British. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite name is [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] so Sir [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] [name_m]Olivier[/name_m] is a fave too. [name_m]Farley[/name_m] and [name_m]Granger[/name_m] would make great names for twin boys if they weren’t a movie star name.
