Personally, I prefer [name_f]Malou[/name_f] but only because of the sound. It just sounds more fun and spunky to me. If you’re going to call her MUH-loo then I’d put [name_f]Malu[/name_f] on her papers. I know what it’s like to have a name you really like sound like a word in your native language, it’s what keeps me from liking [name_m]Pip[/name_m], [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f]! Though it’s been a while, and I’ve started to get over that and could see myself using [name_m]Pip[/name_m] as a nickname one day, maybe.

Looks like I prefer [name_f]Malou[/name_f] with unexpected, harsher-sounding middles and [name_f]Malu[/name_f] with sweeter-sounding ones! I think that’s interesting since the names sound so similar

I prefer [name_f]Malou[/name_f]'s sound and how it looks written down. The name meaning of [name_f]Malu[/name_f] is certainly nice though.

I do agree that [name_f]Malu[/name_f]’s meaning is so much more beautiful than [name_f]Malou[/name_f]’s, but [name_f]Malu[/name_f] really reminds me of Malibu, so I would go with [name_f]Malou[/name_f]. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name!

(What do you think about Salou, Jalou, [name_f]Balou[/name_f], [name_f]Milou[/name_f], [name_f]Lilou[/name_f], Philou or just Alou?)

Choose based on your preferred pronunciation.
Personally I prefer [name_f]Malou[/name_f] but if you want MUH-loo then go with [name_f]Malu[/name_f]
