if you couldn’t tell from the title to the hi ya’ll I’m from the South. Specifically [name_u]Texas[/name_u].
I have a Trapper [name_m]Knox[/name_m] and a [name_m]Crockett[/name_m] Barrow. I love their names and am proud of our weirdness.
We know the girl name we’ll be using. I need help on ideas for a boy. No matter what the middle name begins with a W. We have it picked. So I need some good Southern or outdoorsy sounding names. [name_u]Texas[/name_u] themed is ok too!
Send em my way.
So far I love [name_m]Boone[/name_m], [name_u]Steele[/name_u], [name_m]Briggs[/name_m], [name_m]Rowdy[/name_m] and [name_m]Ryker[/name_m].
Keep in mind I’d like the first name to go with with me screaming out hey Trapper [name_m]Crockett[/name_m] and (baby). Come get your dinner! Lol.

[name_m]Bear[/name_m] is also a name we’ve liked but all great suggestions. [name_m]Seely[/name_m] is a town here in [name_u]Texas[/name_u] ([name_m]Sealy[/name_m]). I like that also.
[name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] is cute, Throney was the man on Home is where the heart is. Loved that movie!
First of all Trapper & [name_m]Crockett[/name_m] are excellent.
I would suggest because of how these names hold in their own uniqueness that you avoid anything that seems too close to either sink -er or -tt names just for good measure and I would stick to keeping separate first initials…
I do think that sticking with a two syllable name is key here.something interesting I noticed is th at the second letter in each name is r and the middle sound is pretty strong… So avoiding heavy p or k sounds should be key.
I would avoid anything similar to the middles either because why repeat things or have rhyme things. I he great your middle is chosen so you can narrow down more comfortably…

Are the first initials I’d recommend looking at depending on your surname of course
If you can find something two syllable with a r sound at the beginning and dissimilar suffix and have it be something you love I think you’ll be seriously winning here for the names together but honestly choose what you love over them working together or a theme, these are just observations.
Trapper & [name_m]Crockett[/name_m]
& Your ideas …
[name_m]Boone[/name_m] - [name_u]Steele[/name_u] - I like these if this is your last baby, my reason being that if you had a 4th boy you’d be stuck thinking of something that really works with all and Trapper, [name_m]Crockett[/name_m] and little [name_m]Boone[/name_m] works but maybe they almost feel too small to work with the big bros? [name_m]Boone[/name_m] maybe better but if you’re going single syllable id stick with [name_m]Briggs[/name_m]
[name_m]Briggs[/name_m] - is perfect , it’s half the syllable length but has the same feel and the same r sound in there with a different beginning and end. It’s also like I said just such a similar vibe.
[name_m]Rowdy[/name_m] - while typically I would be skeptical of this as a name I thing with your sib set you could pull it off and it works and its growing on me
[name_m]Ryker[/name_m]- I think it’s very similar to Trapper and for that reason alone I might veto
