i prefer minnie ! it sounds prettier to me, but also avoids the fact that to me, mamie will always read as the french word for grandma (pronounced mah-mee).

[name_f]Mamie[/name_f] got my vote. It’s sweet and fresh. [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] always feels just a bit too diminutive to me, since it sounds just like “mini”.

[name_f]Mamie[/name_f]! I love both though. I first heard [name_f]Mamie[/name_f] on [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] Streep’s daughter and it suits her so well! Then I found out it’s a family name on my husband’s side so it would also make a great honor name. I would honestly use either irl. Probably [name_u]Marion[/name_u] nn [name_f]Mamie[/name_f].
