I’ve been crushing on [name_m]Manfred[/name_m] lately. What do you think of it?
I think it’s unfortunate. Very clunky and awkward.
The first thing that came to mind when reading [name_m]Manfred[/name_m] was the mammoth in Ice Age! 
The name is not really my style but I like that it sounds unexpected and new and that it means the “man of peace”. Also, [name_m]Manny[/name_m] is a cute nickname!
Oh, I didn’t think of the mammoth - I thought of the 60s pop group [name_m]Manfred[/name_m] Mann -
Oh no, now I seem to be singing "you ain’t seen nothing like the mighty [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]’ outloud… even the cats are wincing!
I think that the important thing is that you like it.
I have to admit, it seems like something a child would get teased for. The meaning is nice, but I’m afraid the teasing potential overpowers that. Going by [name_m]Manny[/name_m] or [name_m]Fred[/name_m] could fix that, I suppose. If you like it, that’s most important.
