But I was wondering about Estée? Is this useable? Have been thinking how pretty it is lately.
Also- on another note- I think [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] might make it onto our list. I am not a fan of [name_f]Stella[/name_f] or [name_f]Estella[/name_f]- but think [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is just beautiful. Anyone else crushing on [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Esme[/name_f]. The reason I wouldn’t personally use [name_f]Estee[/name_f] is a) the [name_f]Estee[/name_f] Lauder makeup company, I just instantly think of it and b) the difficulty of using diacritical marks in [name_u]America[/name_u] as most states don’t allow them on birth certificates.
I adore [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and would totally use it if I didn’t have a niece to be named [name_f]Estela[/name_f] due very soon. I knew an [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] who went by [name_f]Estie[/name_f] once, I LOVED that. That would have been the nickname I would have chosen for [name_f]Estelle[/name_f].
I think the Estée Lauder connection is too strong.
The [name_f]Estee[/name_f] Lauder connection makes this name unusable for me
I think it’s a beautiful name but if you’d pronounce it Es-tay (as in Es-may with a t), it looses it’s beauty for me, the [name_m]French[/name_m] pronunciation, however, is lovely.
