I prefer [name]Mara[/name], but not [name]Mara[/name] [name]Jade[/name].
Wouldn’t [name]Merryn[/name] and [name]Maren[/name] be said differently? I wouldn’t know [name]Merryn[/name] would be said like [name]Maren[/name]. I’d assume [name]Merryn[/name] has the start of the word “merry” and [name]Maren[/name] has the start of the word “marry” which I don’t say the same way at all?
I like [name]Merryn[/name] a lot…it looks like such a happy name! I immediately thought it was pronounced like [name]Maren[/name] ([name]MARE[/name]-INN). [name]Merryn[/name] [name]Frances[/name] is very lovely, [name]IMO[/name]!!

[name]Mara[/name] [name]Jade[/name] [name]Frances[/name] is nice. I definitely prefer [name]Mara[/name] to [name]Merryn[/name].

I like [name]Mara[/name] better than either [name]Merryn[/name] or [name]Maren[/name], but I prefer [name]Marin[/name] (pronounced like the county in [name]California[/name] - rhymes with [name]Corinne[/name]) to all three of those. [name]Just[/name] another option.
I really like [name]Merryn[/name], and much prefer this spelling too - but then being from the UK means we pronounce it merrin not maren? Are you rponouncing it [name]Maren[/name]? I like that a bit less really.
I do like [name]Mara[/name] - it’s come up on my lists occasionally but apparently means ‘bitter’ which while not a deal-breaker does kind of sour the name for me a bit…
[name]Merryn[/name] for sure. And I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Frances[/name] for a mn. I dislike [name]Jade[/name] immensely so while I do think [name]Mara[/name] is nice, [name]Jade[/name] drags the prettiness of the combo down for me. [name]Merryn[/name] [name]Frances[/name] is perfect.
The spelling change did not bother me-- for once, haha. [name]Merryn[/name] is very cute.

If you spelled it Maryn/[name]Maren[/name] then her nn could be [name]Mara[/name]
That’s the problem I’m having. I’m actually the one who suggested [name]Mara[/name] to begin with, but DH is very set on the [name]Mara[/name] [name]Jade[/name] combo, which I just can’t get behind. If he would agree to [name]Mara[/name] [name]Frances[/name], I think we’d have a winner. But the more I think about [name]Merryn[/name], the more I like it.
