Marcella Sandena?

What do you think of the combo [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] Sandena?

[name_f][/name_f]

If we have a girl, we will most likely be using Sandena (san-dean-uh) for the middle name as it is to honor my mother in law. I’m loving the name [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] for a first name, but I’m worried it doesn’t flow great with both names ending in A. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think they flow well together? We could possibly do [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_m]Sandy[/name_m] instead, but I don’t love the flow of that either?

Which pronunciation of [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] do you use?

[name_f][/name_f]

I think they flow fine [name_f][/name_f]- it’s got a bit of flair and elegance, a touch of artiness. If you use the mar-sehl-uh pronunciation, the -cel-[name_f][/name_f] and San-[name_f][/name_f] sounds mesh a little bit, but not bad.

It’s not bad, especially since Sandena is an honor name. They don’t run together or anything.
[name_f][/name_f]I love the name [name_f]Marcella[/name_f]!

I think it sounds really beautiful! I love a double -a ending combo. There’s something very feminine and elegant, but also fun and playful about it too. [name_f]Gorgeous[/name_f] name! :two_hearts:

mar-CHEHL-la (Italian) and mar-KEHL-la (Latin) are the other pronunciations! Though I think most [name_f]English[/name_f] speakers would say mar-sell-uh
