What do you think of Marcia?

I pronounce it as mar-see-uh. I know it’s not the common pronunciation but since this isn’t for a real baby that’s not an issue.

I like Marcy as a nickname… Marcy or Marci??

[name_f]Marcia[/name_f] is warm but sharp - it’s pretty distinctive! I’d spell the nickname as [name_f]Marcy[/name_f]

I dislike it. Very much from my childhood, but I say it [name_f]Marsha[/name_f] so it’s kind of a different name from what you like.

I dislike it because [name_f]Marcia[/name_f] in my language means rotten and I cannot unsee that.

I like [name_f]Marzia[/name_f] though. Really like it. It sounds buttoned up and elegant.
