Margot, Agnes or Édith?

I’m trying to weigh the pros and cons and significantly shrink my list.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] or Édith (pronounced EH-deet)?

My favorite from the list is [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is sweet and spunky. If [name_f]Edie[/name_f] was on the list that would be my number one pick. I adore [name_f]Edie[/name_f]. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] (pronounced ee-dith) has been growing on me but I do not think would ever reach the level of a name I would actually use. I am not fond of [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] at all.

I adore [name_f]Edie[/name_f] and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] (ee-dith) but not sure about it the way you have it. I feel pretty neutral about [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Agnes[/name_f].

I’d pick [name_f]Margot[/name_f] from your list. I think it’s cool, feisty, and stylish in a 50s/60s film star way. I love it! I also algree with previous posters about [name_f]Edith[/name_f] and [name_f]Edie[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], especially with nicknames [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] and [name_f]Nessie[/name_f] / [name_f]Nessa[/name_f]! My second choice would be Édith, which I really like: especially with your chosen pronunciation.

I can’t choose between them! [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] are three of my favourite names and I would use all of them if I could! I love the nicknames [name_f]Aggie[/name_f], [name_f]Edie[/name_f] and [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] for them too.

I would go with [name_f]Margot[/name_f].

[name_f]Margot[/name_f]'s my favourite, but if [name_f]Edith[/name_f] was pronounced how it normally it (EE-dith) and it had no accent above the E, it would get my vote. All great choices, though!
