Margot? Evangeline?

Hey me and my husband were set on [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] but now thinking that [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is a bit frilly and a mouthful. I’m starting to prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] with middle name [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (or maybe [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]) as I feel that it has the same elegance as evangeline but also that bit of spunk (I hope :D) that [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] lacks. What do you guys think? Also any other suggestions for middle names for [name_f]Margot[/name_f]?

I prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] for the feistiness and punch that [name_f]Margot[/name_f] has, and as you said, [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]’s elegance is still there.

I like [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as a first better! I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] flows a little better than [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] does, but both sound good!

I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]! It has such a great sound to it and I love how it feels too

It sounds like [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is where your heart is, but I do love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] myself!

I have a 5 year old [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], it can be a mouthful, but totally worth using up front. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is super pretty, too, though and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] does flow really well.

I love the name [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and had the same questions as you about whether to use it as a first or middle. In the end I used it as my daughter’s middle name. Now I am almost wishing I saved it because I am pregnant again and if it is a girl it would certainly be my top choice for a first name. (I love the first name we chose for our daughter though, so no regrets there! Also, she was supposed to be our last, so it’s hard to really “save” a name. You never know if you will have a chance to use it again.)

That being said, if you love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] more, go for it as a first. It sounds good with [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] as a middle! Or if you think you might want to use it down the road if you had the chance, you could save it and go with [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Both are good choices!

I love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but I think you are leaning towards [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as the first name. It’s a beautiful name, imo.
