Narrowed our names down to [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], and [name_f]Madelynn[/name_f].
I love [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and love the meaning of it - wished for child. I don’t like how popular it is though and how many other “[name_f]Eve[/name_f]” versions of names are out there though.
I like [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and that it’s classic sounding but unique. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s too unique though / will people know how to say it?
[name_f]Madelynn[/name_f] is pretty but definitely the number three of the group.
I would choose [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is nice too but it’s been rising on the charts, maybe you could use [name_f]Margo[/name_f] so the pronunciation is more clear.
I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. Definitely not too unique, and I think more people know how to pronounce it now because of [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Robbie[/name_u].
Another vote for [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! It is elegant and classic, but less expected than [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. I think it is familiar enough that most people will know how to pronounce it.
Another vote for [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! And I would be surprised if you had any issues with pronunciation. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is lovely as well and definitely my second choice. I don’t mind [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] but I only like this spelling (or [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]).
I love [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]! If you feel it’s too popular, how about [name_u]Everly[/name_u]? [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is funky and upbeat, and shares most of the same sounds as [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. She is timeless. I know it’s a popular name overall but definitely not where I live so it still has great appeal to me. I also like [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but not as much as [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].
I vote for [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. It’s not that unusual, surely, that people wouldn’t know how to pronounce it? [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] spelt this way and with the same pronunciation is much more appealing than [name_f]Madelynn[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]! So beautiful and classic
If anything, I see [name_f]Margot[/name_f] around a lot more now than [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. I definitely wouldn’t say it’s too unusual, if anything it’s becoming pretty popular.
[name_f]Madelynn[/name_f] is pretty, but trendy. She’d also probably get [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] a lot so I guess you’d have to decide whether that’d be an issue.
I think [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] would be delightful, but, if popularity bothers you, you may want to reconsider [name_f]Madelynn[/name_f], as several spellings ([name_f]Madelyn[/name_f], [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], [name_f]Madilyn[/name_f], [name_f]Madalyn[/name_f], [name_f]Madelynn[/name_f], [name_f]Madilynn[/name_f] and [name_f]Madalynn[/name_f]) all sit within the top 1000 in the US.
I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! It’s my favourite of your options! I think because of [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Robbie[/name_u], it will be better well known now.
I’m biased, I have a little [name_f]Margot[/name_f] (full name [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]). We haven’t had any issues with pronunciation, though some people write “[name_f]Margo[/name_f]” which hasn’t bothered us at all.
[name_f]Madelynn[/name_f] (and all its variants) seems like it’s been really popular for a while now, so it all depends on if you’re okay with that.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is very very pretty. The Polish version of that name is Ewelina (pronounced [name_f]Evelina[/name_f]) which I find gorgeous too.
Another vote for [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. It’s such a pretty, versatile name, but I wouldn’t call it unique. It is in fact quite popular here in Europe.
All three are about the same is terms of popularity. So if that’s you’re reasoning against a name you otherwise love I would say just go with [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].
But if you want [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] adjacent:
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
Maybelline
[name_f]Etheline[/name_f]
[name_m]Everette[/name_m]
Ainsling
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]
