Let me start by saying that these aren’t a real set of siblings. They’re characters in a short story I’m writing.
I was just wondering what you guys thought of the names together?
The characters of [name]Margot[/name] and [name]Griffin[/name] are twins (they’re three), and [name]Celia[/name] is their baby sister.
I really like the names, but do you think [name]Celia[/name] is too big a departure from the style of the twins’ names? I usually like really romantic names, and old-fashioned names, but I really jump all over the place with boys names.
Hmm… I think that [name]Margot[/name] and [name]Celia[/name] are great together, but [name]Griffin[/name] seems a bit out of place. To me, [name]Griffin[/name] is a great name, but a bit too modern and surnamey to be paired with the vintage [name]Margot[/name] and [name]Celia[/name]… What about [name]Margot[/name], [name]Phineas[/name], and [name]Celia[/name]?
I agree with pp, [name]Margot[/name] and [name]Celia[/name] are lovely together and [name]Griffin[/name] is kinda the odd one out. If you still want ‘[name]Finn[/name]’ in the name, I think the suggestion of [name]Phineas[/name] is great. Some more names you might like:
[name]Margot[/name] and [name]Celia[/name] are great together but brother should be [name]Oliver[/name] or [name]Thomas[/name] or [name]Dorian[/name] or [name]Sebastian[/name].
I liked [name]Margot[/name] and [name]Griffin[/name] mostly for the unity in that they shared the g and the r, only in reversed order and in different spots. [name]Celia[/name] was just a name that I love.
I was thinking I could change [name]Griffin[/name] to [name]Graham[/name]? Would that be an improvement? Their last name is actually Hargreaves.
