[name_m]Hi[/name_m] All!
Hubby and I are welcoming our second girl in [name_u]November[/name_u], and I need help!
We live in [name_u]Rome[/name_u], [name_f]Italy[/name_f] (my husband is Italian and I’m American) so we need a name that can cross between the American/Italian languages.
Our first daughter is [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] (we call her [name_f]Bea[/name_f] for short, both the American way Bee-ya and the Italian way Bay-ah.)
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] or [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] would be good sister names? Impressions with each? Other suggestions? [name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I both have a different preferences and I’m needing input!
Thank you!!!
Yes
They would both work well, but I personally think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] fits the vibe a bit better.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as a sister name to [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]! What would the middle name be?
I think both would work, but love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] with Beatrice/Bea!
They both make good sis names, I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] would make a good first and then [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] could be the middle
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is stunning and I love it with [name_f]Bea[/name_f] !
I defiantly prefer [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] as [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is to close to f*got for my liking. [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] also sounds better with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].
Beatrice and Margot or Beatrice and Sophie sound so cute to me! Sophie seems like a lighter name, while Margot feels a bit a darker color to me. That’s just my impression! I think they’re both so pretty with Beatrice or Bea… so hard to choose!
Both are gorgeous! [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is sleek and stylish. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is vintage and charming. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] has a slight edge for me but you can’t go wrong with either
100% [name_f]Margot[/name_f]!
Margot would be such a sweet sister name for Beatrice!
Although I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] more, I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] fits better with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] (which I love btw!). You could pair the two names together to create beautiful combos like [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] or [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a suggestion!
I’m loving [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. I’ve also seen it spelt [name_f]Margo[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]!
I think both are beautiful, but I would personally think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] sounds better with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. Perhaps [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] with [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] as the middle name? I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] works well in both cultures.
I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] better than I like [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but both are cute and I think go very well with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] “Bea”
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is perfect with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. It’s a lovely vintage choice, just like [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], and it has the same elegance that [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] does. [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is lovely too and it does work with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] but it’s not quite as cohesive as [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] are.
This is a tough one, I adore [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] / [name_f]Sofie[/name_f] but [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] being the #1 girl name in [name_f]Italy[/name_f] currently kind of turns me off (of course [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is also in the top 10 so popularity may not be an issue.) [name_f]Margot[/name_f] / [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is great with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and works for your location but isn’t as popular.
I love Sophie!!! I’m just not a fan or [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] give me totally different vibes, but [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] & [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] as sisters makes me smile!
