Have you ever gotten a feeling about a name? [name_f]Margot[/name_f] came out of no where yesterday and I just got a feeling about and it’s stuck with me. However I’m a little nervous of the perceptions people may have of the name because it’s not a name i thought I would have gotten stuck on. What are your thoughts?
Also on the short list are - [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
([name_f]Felicity[/name_f] had been high on the list but worried it’s so many syllables and I hate the nicknames that are generally associated with it)
I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] are high on my list too. My favorite nickname for [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is Lissy.
I have a [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], and she goes by [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]–no nickname needed It suits her so well and we get lots of positive comments on her name. If you love it, use it!
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is on my short list for this next girl but hubby doesn’t like it. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is nice, too!
I absolutely love the name [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. It’s mature, and professional, but still can suit babies, toddlers, children, teens, adults, and the elderly. It’s perfect! [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is also a really nice name, but it’s not my absolute favorite. As pretty as it is, I find [name_f]Alice[/name_f] a bit dated, instead of the vintage vibe. But if you love it, then go for it! Perhaps [name_f]Elise[/name_f]? Its a variant of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (i think) and its more modern. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] would go great!
