Marguerite

What do you think of the name [name]Marguerite[/name]? This was one of my favorites a long time ago, and I’m warming back up to it.

I went to school with a [name]Marguerite[/name] (in the US) and I just love it. There were some margarita jokes, but not many and I don’t think it was a big deal.

I think it’s gorgeous! The more I think about it, though, part of me is wondering if depending on where you live, it may be perceived as trying too hard to trump [name]Margaret[/name]. I’m not sure though, but it was just a possibility that entered my mind.

I think it’s so elegant…

Good luck!

It’s nice, but I prefer [name]Margaret[/name].

I really love it!! its so cute. [name]Margarita[/name] is more femenine to me but then there will always be the drink jokes.

[name]LOVE[/name] it! I know two, one from [name]Italy[/name] and her nickname is Margue (pronounced mar-gay-- mar like youd pronounce marguerite) and another one from the US who’s nickname is Marzie. Such a beautiful name

I think it’s really beautiful! Very elegant, refined, and classic.

I know I’m bumping a nearly 6-month-old thread, but since I’m the OP I thought I’d mention one of the combos on my favorites list: [name]Marguerite[/name] [name]Claire[/name] (I also like it the other way around, [name]Claire[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]).

Ooh, [name]Marguerite[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is pretty! So is [name]Claire[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]… What about [name]Marguerite[/name] [name]Clara[/name] or [name]Clara[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]?
