Does anyone know how to pronounce [name]Marieke[/name]? or Ymre? thanks!!
Not sure about [name]Marieke[/name] but I think Ymre is pronounced: EEM- Ruh (but I could be wrong) hopefully a more definite source will post to help you out 
I would say [name]MAR[/name]-yeh-keh and IM-reh (IM like in [name]Imelda[/name]) instinctively, but according to behindthename.com [name]Marieke[/name] is pronounced ma-[name]REE[/name]-keh, like [name]Marie[/name] with a -ke at the end (which is how it’s spelled, silly me. blushes)
I’ve never seen Ymre before, but I know a little [name]Imre[/name] (in Norway) ^^
IM-reh or EEM-reh are just two ways of writing the same pronunciation I guess, but my Norwegian head thinks the EE should be extra long since there are two so that makes EEM-reh sound like EE-mreh in my head which is wrong… 
[name]Imre[/name] is a Hungarian form of [name]Emmerich[/name] which reminds me of the completely unrelated Emre ([name]EM[/name]-reh) which means ‘friend’ ^^
