Hello:)
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] are usable for sisters? If so, what would you name a third sister? If not, what names do you think would fit well with a sister named [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]?
Thanks!
Very flower power
I think would hesitate I don’t think I would be ‘brave enough’ to use this sibling set but I think it’s usable in a bohemian our parents are hippy eco warriors way which is a vibe I totally dig. I think I would have to go with another floral name like [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] or [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f] for a third sister. Personally I would pair [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] with a more relaxed floral option like [name_u]Florence[/name_u], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Linnea[/name_f].
While they are both very pretty names, I think I’d be a little hesitant to use them as sisters. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is beautiful and I think I’d use something a little more subtle for a sister.
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] (sounds similar to Dahlia)
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f] (means Lily)
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f]
However, if you really want to embrace to flower/nature theme, for a third sister I’d use:
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
If you don’t mind people assuming it’s deliberately floral, sure, I think they work!
With [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and Lavender…
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u]
[name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Anthea[/name_f]
[name_f]Cerelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Bluebell[/name_f]
With Marigold…

[name_f]Phillipa[/name_f]
[name_f]Luella[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f]
[name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
Yes.
Primrose.
I agree with the others, although they are both beautiful names I would not pair them as sisters. I favor [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] more.
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_u]Clarke[/name_u]
[name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]
If you wanted to go strong with the floral theme I think you could name sisters [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] & [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] Themes may not be everyones personal taste but I dont think theres anything wrong with the names.
for a third sister I would stay with the nature/word name theme or very bohemian feeling that could have a nature tie
[name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_u]Willow[/name_u]

[name_f]Iolanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]
[name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]
[name_f]Petal[/name_f]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosebud[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
They’re beautiful as sisters I love them!
I’d name a third girl [name_f]Opal[/name_f] - a light nature connection through the gemstone and an equally spunky name.
It is much more themey than I would personally do but I could get on board. I appreciate that they’re uncommon flower names so it feels less cheesy than other floral pairings would.
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], and…
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]
[name_u]Hyacinth[/name_u]
[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f]
[name_f]Wisteria[/name_f]
[name_f]Camellia[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Daylily[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and…
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f]
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Roxanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] are two of my favourite names, so I’m personally a lot more inclined to overlook their similarities and would use them together. Aside from the floral connection they’re just the right amount of cohesive but distinct. I think they definitely work together if they’re amongst other (non-floral) siblings. With just two it feels more coincidental than a deliberate theme. For a third sister I’d probably go for something with lots of vintage charm to match, like [name_f]Honoria[/name_f], [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], or [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f].
siblings are individuals who will spend the majority of their lives living apart from one another. i think people are altogether too concerned with sibsets. yes, marigold and lavender are very matchy, but who cares? theyre not matchy in a bad way, and though it might not be to everyone’s taste, it really doesn’t matter. use the names you love! marigold and lavender are both fabulous names and i would be stoked to be given either. you’re naming an adult individual at the end of the day.
i would lean further into the flowers theme if i already had two called marigold and lavender; it just feels like the only way to go from there. but i’d want something subtle and not too on the nose. so for their sister i’d go for delphine (after delphinium flower)
Oh, definitely! They’re matchy but in such a sweet way — I love it!
I think Clementine would be absolutely perfect
Rosemary, Florence, Amaryllis, Wisteria (), Callista, Cerelia, Cecily, Delphine, Fuchsia, & Hyacinth all came to mind!
Marigold & Lavender are both eight letters and they both contain the letters A, R, and L, so I might try to continue that pattern
I like them together! I don’t mind the theme! [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], and…
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f]
[name_u]Hazel[/name_u]
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f]
I love it, I would go for a 3 syllable flower name for a third girl and make it intentional
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Lavendar[/name_f] and [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]
I love flowers and gardening and such names. I think [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] are lovely together. I love nickname options and that’s my only hesitation about [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] personally. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] could go as [name_f]Mare[/name_f] or [name_f]Mara[/name_f] or [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] or [name_f]Golda[/name_f] or [name_u]Golden[/name_u]. However, despite not being able to think of good [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] nns, I think it’s even more lovely than [name_f]Marigold[/name_f].
A third could be:
[name_f]Begonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Fuchsia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilac[/name_f]
[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
Nandina
Lantana
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosebud[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
[name_f]Peony[/name_f]
Tithonia
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Verbena[/name_f]
[name_f]Wisteria[/name_f]
[name_f]Chrysanthemum[/name_f]
[name_f]Forsythia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilium[/name_f]
[name_f]Orchid[/name_f]
[name_f]Arethusa[/name_f] (a type of orchid)
[name_u]Holly[/name_u]
Hollyhock
[name_f]Gladiola[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
and so many more!
