Marionne or Marionna

As a writer do you ever feel like you “make up” a name based on an existing name and then argue about it with yourself? Maybe it’s just me :joy:

I love [name_f]Marionne[/name_f] pronounced [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-on. Almost like [name_u]Marian[/name_u] which has a [name_u]Marion[/name_u] variation but I’m not sure if its intuitive or too out there.

I also like Marionna - same concept. [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-on-a.

Middle name would be [name_u]Winter[/name_u].

Really loving this but wanted some perspective!

I think Marionna [name_u]Winter[/name_u] flows better than [name_f]Marionne[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u], so Marionna gets my vote! It does look a little made up but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with making up names for characters.

I agree. Also, if you’d like a more established spelling, you could use [name_f]Mariana[/name_f].

Marionna [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is so pretty!

Thank you! I really like it. I dont like it as well spelled [name_f]Mariana[/name_f]. I guess you could achieve the same pronunciation but to me Marionna is slightly different.
