So I’ve seen a commercial several times for the new [name_f]Mariposa[/name_f] [name_f]Barbie[/name_f] doll. As rediculous as it sounds, I think this name is becoming more popular because of that?! What do you think? Is this even a recognized name …
Well, it’s Spanish for butterfly. I’ve never seen the commercial. I suppose the imagery is nice, and she could go by [name_f]Mari[/name_f] or [name_f]Posy[/name_f]. It’s cute, but definitely not my style. A little too cute, I guess.
the [name_f]Mariposa[/name_f] is a butterfly, the name has been found in video games…yeah, I can see it being used. Certainly if [name_f]Mimosa[/name_f] is listed on Nameberry, perhaps [name_f]Mariposa[/name_f] should be as well. As should Temijun
