We are still trying to find a middle name for [name_f]Marit[/name_f]. I would like to use [name_f]Marit[/name_f] as a first name and feel it works very well with [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] “Isby” and [name_f]Livia[/name_f]. [name_f]Marit[/name_f] honors my mother-in-law and late grandma. We wanted to still honor my parents in the combo, like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] does. While I was reading over my girls’ names, I realized I quite like [name_f]Marit[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]. [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] honors my late sister [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] but it would also honor my dad’s side through it’s [name_m]German[/name_m] origin.
I was also thinking [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Poet[/name_f] sounds much nicer then [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_u]Story[/name_u] or [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_u]Fable[/name_u].
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Marit[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] are fantastic together. Would make a beautiful set.
Of all the names in your signature I like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] the best with [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] has lovely flow. The others ([name_f]Poet[/name_f], [name_u]Story[/name_u], [name_u]Fable[/name_u]) feel a bit choppy to me. They’d feel smoother with [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], but I’m sure you’ve considered that ([name_f]Isabella[/name_f] [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f])
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f] is beautiful. We want to use [name_u]Fable[/name_u], [name_u]Story[/name_u], or [name_f]Poet[/name_f] because they have special meaning for my whole family, mostly it honors my late grandma. There is a story to it, one hard to explain to others outside the family.
This is probably a bit of an odd observation, but when i was sort of distractedly scanning the list of forum discussions before clicking on your post, my eye read ‘[name_f]Marit[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]’ as ‘[name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f]’. lol. Obviously this was because I wasn’t really paying attention, and I’m not sure that it’s necessarily a bad thing, or if anyone else would see the same thing! I do think [name_f]Marit[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] sounds lovely though, how do you pronounce [name_f]Marit[/name_f] btw?
[name_f]Marit[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is AMAZING! Wow!
In my mind, I read it as “MAHR-it ahn-uh-[name_u]LEE[/name_u]-sa” which I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f]… but if it’s “[name_f]MAIR[/name_f]-it [name_f]ANN[/name_f]-uh-leez” then I don’t really care for it nearly as much. It looks great, though, I’d just be a little disappointed with an entirely Anglicized pronunciation (rather than approximation).
