and reasons?
I like a lot [name_f]Thea[/name_f] better. I think it’s fresh and stylish. [name_f]Marla[/name_f] seems more dull to me and I can not imagine it on a child.
Absolutely [name_f]Thea[/name_f].
[name_f]Marla[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Thea[/name_f] as Thee-uh and I really like the sounds of [name_f]Marla[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Marla[/name_f]. It is fitting from childhood through adulthood.
I prefer [name_f]Marla[/name_f]. It was on mine and my husband’s list of contenders. [name_f]Thea[/name_f] is nice too, I just don’t love it as much. And I think it’ll be mispronounced often.
Definitely [name_f]Thea[/name_f] - I find [name_f]Marla[/name_f] flat and dated, and I can’t shake the [name_f]Marla[/name_f] Maples association.
Definitely second this. [name_f]Thea[/name_f] is such a lively, impactful name.
I like [name_f]Thea[/name_f]! She may have to explain the pronunciation, but I know plenty of friends with names they need to teach others to pronounce, and it doesn’t seem to be a big issue. And then you end up with the name you want! [name_f]Marla[/name_f] is great too.
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]. I actually like the sounds of [name_f]Marla[/name_f] more but it sounds a little outdated (maybe because of its similarity to [name_f]Carla[/name_f]).
[name_f]Marla[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Thea[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Marla[/name_f] is refreshing.
I prefer the sound and soft, almost magical feel of [name_m]Thay[/name_m]-uh.
