What do you think of [name_u]Marley[/name_u] on a boy?
Is it too much “[name_u]Marley[/name_u] & Me” & [name_m]Bob[/name_m] [name_u]Marley[/name_u]?
Middles for [name_u]Marley[/name_u]?
I prefer it on a girl.
Too associated with dog for me, but I would say its more for a girl than a boy.
It’s more of a girl’s name for me too. I like it as a nn for [name_f]Marlene[/name_f], one of my guilty pleasures.
A good friend of mine has a little girl named [name_u]Marley[/name_u] I in no way associate it with a dog (the only dog I know of is from the movie & people name their dogs charlie and things like that…so does that mean a little charlie reminds one of a dog?) [name_f]Nor[/name_f] does it of [name_m]Bob[/name_m] [name_u]Marley[/name_u]. However, I guess I am biased and see it as a girls name
I love [name_u]Marley[/name_u] for a boy. I also like it for a girl.
I hesitate to use it myself because…
- The dog from [name_u]Marley[/name_u] & Me
- I think it will become predominantly a girl’s name (looking at your signature, this probably doesn’t bother you. I also love [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] for a boy. :))
- It’s not as traditional as my other two children’s names
I like these middle names…
