My first association is the dog from the movie [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and Me. But it’s not a very strong association. Otherwise I think it’s very sweet and girly.
I really like the name [name_u]Marley[/name_u] for a girl… I love the way it sounds!! The only thing I associate with [name_u]Marley[/name_u] is [name_m]Bob[/name_m] [name_u]Marley[/name_u], which I don’t think is a bad association at all!!
Aww I like [name_u]Marley[/name_u] a lot! [name_f]My[/name_f] associations are the book/movie [name_u]Marley[/name_u] & Me (not a super strong association though), [name_m]Bob[/name_m] [name_u]Marley[/name_u] (also not super strongly), and a girl I know.
Marley reminds me of the character from Glee and Also one of my professor’s had a daughter named [name_u]Marley[/name_u] that he told us had been named by one of his students. (he gave random quizzes in order to take attendance they’d be whats your favorite band or something and when his wife was pregnant the quiz question was what should I name my daughter. Thats how she ended up [name_u]Marley[/name_u]
I prefer [name_u]Marley[/name_u] for a boy. Or a dog (which if you knew how much I love dogs you would know is no insult!). 
I like [name_u]Marlo[/name_u] for a girl or [name_u]Maury[/name_u] and for a boy [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], [name_m]Moray[/name_m], [name_u]Murray[/name_u], [name_u]Moe[/name_u].
