I really like them both! They both have a vintage, “film noir” glamour to my ear, as they remind me of actress [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_u]Harlow[/name_u], and detective [name_m]Philip[/name_m] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] from The Big Sleep. :slight_smile:

I love [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] ! And the nickname [name_f]Lo[/name_f] or [name_m]Lowie[/name_m] :blush: I just had a friend that named her daughter this because she loved [name_f]Margot[/name_f] but it was already used by a close friend.

I’ve always had a soft spot for [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] the name feels preppy, has a sweet sound, has lovely associations with the playwright and I prefer the softer sound of the ‘M’ start.
