I like Mary-Alice best - perhaps it feels fresher to me. I think Mary-Kate flows slightly better though.

I love all the names separately - [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f].

Mary-Alice to me sounds very nun-like to be honest. Meanwhile Mary-Kate sounds nice but also has strong associations to the [name_m]Olsen[/name_m] twins for me and therefore sounds dated to the 90s. That being said, if I had to choose between the two I think I would prefer Mary-Kate simply because the [name_m]Olsen[/name_m] association, although strong, isn’t a bad one, whereas the nun thing would be hard for me to get over.

[name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] as a first name with no hyphen. If it’s has to be hyphenated, Mary-Kate. I don’t think Mary-Alice or [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] work.

If you want her to be called by both names, I’d go with Mary-Kate

Yea the hyphen in the middle of the name kinda ruins the pretty flow of the name for me. While i prefer Mary-Kate, it just reminds me of the olsen twins. i love Mary Alice!! I think it’s awesome!!!

I love Mary-Kate! It’s one of my guilty pleasure names as I don’t usually like double barrel but this one is a big exception!!

Mary-Kate flows the best. But you have to be aware that Mary-Kate and [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] [name_m]Olsen[/name_m] were big in the 90’s and that is what people will probably think of when they hear the name Mary-Kate
