I came up with the combo [name]Mary[/name] [name]Charlaine[/name] last week. I was thinking of the name Charlemaine (sp?) but wires crossed or something and I wrote [name]Charlaine[/name]. It combines grandparent’s names [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Lorraine[/name] though and I find it a pretty combo. [name]Mary[/name] is another grandmother.
It has a nice sound - would you pronounce it with the hard “ch” as in [name]Charles[/name], or the soft “sh” as in [name]Charlene[/name]?
I know a [name]Marlaine[/name] and I’ve always thought that was pretty.
Impressed with your creativity, but for me the sounds in Mary and [name]Char[/name]laineare too similar… perhaps sound better the other way round?
