Mary Eloise too boring?

We are expecting a baby girl in [name_u]June[/name_u], a sister for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. My husband has always wanted to name a baby [name_f]Mary[/name_f] after his beloved Aunt [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. He also loves the name.
I don’t hate [name_f]Mary[/name_f] but I’d never choose it for a child. The problem is I don’t have any names that I really love and am fighting for instead. So, I’m trying to wrap my head around [name_f]Mary[/name_f] to make him and his family happy. I’m just afraid it’s too boring! What do you think about [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]? [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is after my other grandmother [name_f]Louise[/name_f] (the other is [name_f]Irene[/name_f]).

I think it’s a pretty name. [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] makes it a bit more interesting as well.

I don’t think [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is too boring. I really think [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] adds some spunk to [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. It’s really cute.

I think [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is great. [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is great as well.

I will copy and paste what I posted in your other thread.

In my opinion, a combo with [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] in it cannot be boring. [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is spunky and full of life. [name_f]Mary[/name_f] seems bright and joyful. I would find myself calling her [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] more often than just [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] sound like a fun set.

I agree with most other poster I think [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] brightens the name [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. I would also suggest If you don’t love [name_f]Mary[/name_f] as a first name maybe put it in the middle, but I [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t think Flipping it to be [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] would flow very well.

I love [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] but think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] are too similar to use it as a first name.

I also think [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] brightens up [name_f]Mary[/name_f] quite a bit.

[name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is great. I can easily see calling her [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] full time as well.

I really like [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. I recommended it earlier in comments on a Name [name_u]Sage[/name_u] blog post… was that to you?

[name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is a name that doesn’t catch your eye on paper when it’s among other names. But meeting a [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] in person is very different, indeed. A [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] in person is someone with a gentle but evocative name that she wears well. I think [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is a name that really shines when it’s in use, in everyday, real life situations.
