I think it’s very rare for people to masculinize (?) a feminine name. The only cases I can think of are [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_m]Christian[/name_m]. From what I’ve heard, [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] came into use as a masculinization of [name_f]Emma[/name_f], and [name_m]Christian[/name_m] originated on girls, and has since transferred to boys (which I find pretty cool!). There’s also [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], which I’m not sure really fits into this category, but it seems like it’s transferred genders so many times that it should count for something.
I wrote a piece of English work on this. I couldn’t find many either. I think it is just gender bias - it is okay to seem more masculine, but not more feminine.
