[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries, I’m stuck on what name to put between [name_u]Mason[/name_u] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. I want it to be 6 or more (preferably 7+ but I have 2 combos that are 5-6-4) letters to ‘fit’ alongside hypothetical sister [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
So far, I have:
[name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] (I don’t think the 2 -n endings make it flow)
[name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] (the masON and [name_m]ANthony[/name_m] collide with each other, WDYT? It also honours my father whereas [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] honours nobody)
[name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] (double J’s, is it too much?)
As you can see, the 3 options I have so far all have downfalls that I can’t get past.
What I’m asking is: what is your favourite combo from my 3 above and what would you suggest to fill the gap between [name_u]Mason[/name_u] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]?
I agree with you that none of your three choices are ideal but I think [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is the best option since family honouring trumps flow. I think names that contain a hanging letter (g, j, y etc…) are best for visual appeal and balance because both [name_u]Mason[/name_u] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] are straight lines. Here are some other suggestions.
I’m liking [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u], though I do see what you mean with the -on from [name_u]Mason[/name_u] running into the An- of [name_m]Anthony[/name_m].
I like [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. You are right that [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] does not flow well. I think it’s the -n ending more than the # of syllables though.
I don’t think the repeated ‘on’ or the -on/An- in [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] is a big deal (despite have said something about it in a previous thread! – sorry about that). It’s still handsome, and since it honors your father, i think it’s a winner.
