I have a family of characters whose fns and middle names are supposed to sound very similar, but not the same.
There’s four of them, and right now only two have good, adequately matching fns and mns, namely [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Dolores[/name_f] and [name_f]Irene[/name_f] [name_f]Ines[/name_f].
The other two characters, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_m]Hooper[/name_m] [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], don’t sound exactly right. I considered [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_m]Hooper[/name_m] [name_m]Hopper[/name_m], but they’re both just too dang similar to the fn.
With [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Dolores[/name_f] and [name_f]Irene[/name_f] [name_f]Ines[/name_f] in mind, does anyone have any idea what similarly matching mns would work with [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_m]Hooper[/name_m]?
